Orchestra

Students in Lake Geneva Schools have the opportunity to participate in orchestra from grades 4-12. Students will participate in string orchestra and have the option to participate in Fiddle Club. Orchestra students will study a variety of types of music in class as well. Students attend lessons during the school day on a regular basis. Attending all orchestra performances is a course requirement. Instruments that are part of the orchestra include violin, viola, cello and upright string bass. Students will also have the opportunity to play on electric instruments such as the electric violin, electric 5 string violin/viola, electric cello and upright electric bass. Fiddle Club explores jazz, Latin jazz, rock, funk, celtic and fiddle music. *NEW students to orchestra must take Summer Orchestra in order to participate.
